Industrial-Grade Mica Minerals
Lightweight brilliance engineered for high-performance applications.
Mica refers to a diverse group of silicate minerals known as sheet silicates, characterized by their perfectly layered structure. These thin, flexible sheets are lightweight, highly heat-resistant, chemically stable, and excellent electrical insulators. Common commercial varieties include muscovite (transparent and widely used), biotite (black), phlogopite (brown), and lepidolite (purple, lithium-rich).
With its unique combination of non-conductivity, thermal resistance, and natural sheen, mica is used across multiple industries. It plays a critical role in electrical and electronic insulation, capacitors, circuit boards, and high-temperature furnace and welding applications. In the cosmetics industry, finely ground mica is used for pearlescent and shimmering effects in skincare and makeup products. Additionally, mica finds applications in construction materials, paints, plastics, rubber, drilling fluids, and automotive components due to its durability and reinforcement properties.
